We had 772 attendees representing over 38 countries attend the 2007 HOC. As we continue to grow we are expecting at or above capacity attendance for the 2008 conference. Registration will open at the Waverly hotel at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 26th until 8:00 PM and will reopen at 7:30 AM on Monday October 27th. The conference will begin at 10 AM Monday morning. Registration will be open throughout the conference, Monday through Thursday. The ONLINE registration will close this Thursday, 23 October 12:00 PM EST. You may register in person at the conference starting at 3:00 PM EST Sunday, 26 October 2008.
The prices for the 2008 conference are: $400 for all military, civil service and defense department attendees along with the L-100/C-130 owner/operators; and $600 for all others including Service Centers, repair stations, suppliers, vendors, contractors, etc...). We are expecting over eighty vendor exhibits to be displayed this year. The exhibits represent a wide range of aerospace industries that support all facets of C130/L100-382 support for both Lockheed Martin and our customers. Exhibitor set up will be available on Sunday afternoon, October 26th, in the Renaissance Waverly Grand Ballroom.
Conference exhibitors will be required to prepay for their booths this year. The exhibitor fee is $2,600 per exhibitor booth. This fee includes one free admission per booth purchased, electrical services and a wireless internet access code for use in the Grand Ballroom area (one code per booth purchased).
Please note that if you fill out the exhibitor registration form you still must complete an Attendees registration form for each person attending the conference. One free admission will be allowed for each booth purchased. The individual being admitted free must sign up in the "Attendees Registration" form and select "Exhibitor (Free Adm. with Display Booth)" selection from the appropriate drop down menu.

It’s time to select the photographs for the 2009 Calendar that will be distributed at the Hercules Operator’s Conference. The calendar will once again be dedicated to the C-130 B–J Hercules aircraft and will feature a selection of photographs submitted by commercial and military operators, and service centers from around the world. If you would like to participate please submit high-resolution digital photographs (1500 x 2500 pixels or higher), digital scans (300 dpi or higher), or image files (minimum 2MB) to be considered for the calendar. Recent photographs that have not been previously utilized in our calendar may be forwarded no later than 30 August 2008 to cassie.n.rogers@lmco.com or hercules.support@lmco.com. Conference Presentations
To make the conference informative and meaningful we are asking our Service Centers, military operators and commercial owners and operators to provide presentations at the conference. Please understand that sales presentations are not permitted. As with previous conferences, presentations should not exceed 30 minutes. To ensure appropriate presentations are incorporated into the agenda, a committee has been established to review all presentations for format, technical content, audio-visual compatibility, and acceptability. If you or your group would like to request a side meeting, we would ask that you make your request in advance if all possible to facilitate the scheduling process and to ensure the appropriate personnel are available. Service Center Side Meetings
Lockheed Martin C-130 Program Management intends to hold a side meeting again this year during the conference with all of the attending service center representatives. It is suggested that you submit your agenda items by email to Sally Liquori as soon as possible. Lockheed Martin Plant Tour (Updated 10-22-08)
The plant tour will be on Friday morning from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on October 31st. Sign-up for the tour will be held at the conference. Due to heightened security requirements, and to expedite the sign-up process, we're requesting interested participants download this form and fill it out prior to arriving at the HOC. Seats will be limited. Note that the form linked above has now been updated to include additional security requirements. 2007 HOC Presentations

Lockheed Martin is hosting the 1st Annual HOC Golf Classic at the City Club Marietta. The date is Friday October 31, 2008 with the first tee time beginning at 9:00 AM. The cost for 18 holes and a cart is $58.00. Range balls (40) can be purchased for $4.75. The City Club is located just minutes from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. For those of you who have been on the Plant/Flightline tour, this is a good opportunity to play a round of golf and meet other HOC attendees on a nice course. We will have a sign up sheet during registration beginning Sunday October 26. Payment for the Golf Classic will be handled separately from the HOC Conference. Green Fees must be paid no later than Monday October 27. Also, rental golf clubs are available at the City Club for $31.80. A limited number of left-handed rental clubs are also available. We will hold the first quarterly meeting on Aging Aircraft at this year's HOC. You are invited to participate in the discussion during a side meeting currently being planned. This meeting will satisfy one of the FAA requirements that we meet with the customers and discuss the current analyses for aging aircraft. Please review this announcement and then respond with the number of individuals from your organization that you'd like to participate in the discussions along with any agenda topics you feel would be relevant.
