Army Tactical Missile System Block I (ATACMS® Block I)
ATACMS is a long-range guided missile that gives operational commanders the immediate firepower to win the deep battle. Each ATACMS missile is packaged in a MLRS look-alike launch pod and is fired from the MLRS Family of Launchers. ATACMS is an evolutionary family of missiles that includes the Block I, Block IA, Block IA Unitary and the Block II. ATACMS Block I - Combat Proven in Desert Storm with 32 missiles successfully fired
