 Lockheed Martin is committed to delivering the reliability and performance of the Atlas V product to the commercial market, both domestic and international. Lockheed Martin Commercial Launch Services (LMCLS), has the responsibility for all Atlas commercial launch service contracts, and performs marketing, sales and mission management for commercial Atlas missions.
LMCLS employs the full strength of the Atlas program, Space Systems Company and the Lockheed Martin Corporation to provide customers with the mission assurance that is associated with Atlas, the world’s most reliable expendable launch vehicle. Atlas is manufactured by United Launch Alliance, a joint venture between Lockheed Martin and The Boeing Company, formed in December 2006.
