Supporting local communities

As an industry leader in global security and aerospace, Lockheed Martin recognises its responsibilities to the people it
employs, its customers, supply chain, industrial and academic partners and the wider community in which it operates.

The company plays an active role in helping to strengthen the quality of life in the communities in which its employees live
and work.

Each year, Lockheed Martin focuses its philanthropic contributions on science, technology, engineering and mathematics
(STEM) related activities, projects supporting members of our armed forces and local community programmes.

In addition to providing donations and sponsorships, the company encourages its workforce to volunteer both time and
expertise to supporting local community groups and actively encourages employee fundraising events and activities.

In addition to providing ad hoc support for charitable and community activities, the company also supports a number of
longer-term projects such as expansion of the National Museum of the Royal Navy Museum, which will chart the history
of the Royal Navy from its early origins to the modern era, in times of peace and war.
