A Global Security asset to preserve and protect Lockheed Martin customer missions and address the greater cyber security challenges worldwide

The NexGen Cyber Innovation and Technology Center (NexGen) is a world-class center designed for cyber research and development, customer and partner collaboration and innovation. It is the newest addition to Lockheed Martin's portfolio of research, development, and testing facilities.

The unique 25,000 square foot center leverages existing Lockheed Martin and partner capabilities in addition to developing the most innovative new cyber solutions to meet our customer's unique needs through teamwork and collaboration. At the center, Lockheed Martin and partner technologies are integrated to create rapid prototypes to speed the innovation of solution delivery and provide seamless security. Through this meshing of innovation, technology and talent, Lockheed Martin and its partners work to solve the most difficult cyber challenges and help customers in their defining moments.

The center is fully equipped for live cyber technology exercises and demonstrations to help customers integrate solutions and test them in environments that are representative of their missions.  The center is the anchor point for our new Global Cyber Innovation range enabling this safe testing in both simulated real world environment for development of integrated cyber solutions.

The newly formed Cyber Security Alliance reflects partner invested technology in the center and commitment to a shared goal of enhanced security. The partners work with Lockheed Martin technologists and customers to integrate commercial security solutions. The Alliance companies are: APC by Schneider Electric, CA, Cisco, Dell, EMC Corporation and its RSA Security Division, HP, Intel, Juniper Networks, McAfee, Microsoft, NetApp, VMware, Symantec.

Key Features: Seven collaboration areas, reconfigurable spaces, global cyber range, cloud computing platforms, green IT datacenter, telepresence and high definition video teleconferencing and global site connectivity.

Highly Networked Environment: The Center is the Gaithersburg node on the Lockheed Martin Global Range and is connected to laboratories and development centers worldwide. The network is secure with high-speed connectivity to the Internet, LMI, HiWAE, GVNet, and classified networks.
