Chelmsford is a microwave research and development, engineering design, assembly and production facility. The facility contains four clean rooms for the development and manufacture of custom microwave hybrid integrated circuits and subsytems. Chelmsford's technical specialty is the design and manufacture of low noise ultra stable frequency sources, synthesizers, exciters, technique generators and receivers for state of the art Radar, EW and Communication applications. The facility also specializes in most microwave components required in these applications. A major focus at Chelmsford is to leverage its capabilities into the commercial arena through licensing and other vehicles.

From: Manchester Airport
Leaving Manchester Airport, follow the signs for Route 101 West.
Follow Route 101 West to Route 3 South (Everett Turnpike).  You will go through two toll booths in NH (75 cents at each toll booth).  Continue on Rte. 3 South (Everett Turnpike) through Nashua into Massachusetts.  Exit numbers change as you go over the border of NH and MA.
Continue on Rte 3 South to Drum Hill Rotary Exit 32.  Take the 2nd right off the rotary onto Route 4.  Proceed approximately 2 miles to the center of town (you will cross over Route 495), Chelmsford Center.  Proceed diagonally across Chelmsford Center (still Route 4) down the hill past Jack's Diner.  Take the first right after Jack's Diner onto Route 27 (toward Acton/Maynard at the Gulf gas station).  Proceed on Route 27 for 2 1/2  miles to the "Village."  You will know it is a village because a red diamond sign says "25 MPH in Village."  There is a big white country store, "Kates Corner" in the middle of the fork.  Turn right in front of Kate's Corner onto Maple Road (no street sign); the LMMFC facility is approximately 200 feet on the left past the church.  Park in front in the "Visitor Parking" and enter through the front door.
You must check in with Security at the front door.  Directions are on the wall to the left as you enter the building.

Take the Airport Exit to the Sumner Tunnel.
After the tunnel, take I-93 North.
Follow I-93 North for approximately 17 miles to I-495 South.
Take Exit 32 off I-495 South (Westford, to Route 225).
At the end of the ramp, turn LEFT onto Boston Road.
At the intersection (lights), turn LEFT onto Route 110.  Continue straight past the small strip malls.
Travel on 110 until you see Emerson Clinic on the left.
Just past Emerson Clinic you will see S. Chelmsford Road on the right.  Turn RIGHT onto S. Chelmsford Road.
Continue straight on S. Chelmsford Road for 1.8 miles (as a landmark, you will pass a 4-H Camp on the right).
LMMFC is on the right immediately after Agway.
Turn RIGHT into lot.
