SUBJECT: Chris Kubasik Elected Vice Chairman
Today, our Board of Directors voted unanimously to establish the new position of Vice Chairman and elected President and Chief Operating Officer Chris Kubasik to that position.
This follows our April 26 announcement outlining our CEO succession plans. Adding Chris to our Board of Directors now is a natural next step in our leadership transition and a positive action for our customers, employees and stockholders. As Vice Chairman, he will have the opportunity to gain further insight into board decision-making and actions, which will help him prepare for his future responsibilities as CEO.
I know I speak for the entire Board in expressing our confidence in Chris’ expertise and strategic vision. We look forward to his contributions.
