Lockheed Martin Awarded Two Information Technology Services Contracts Under ITOP II

FALLS CHURCH, VA, January 27th, 1999 -- Lockheed Martin Information Support Services is one of several contractors awarded Lots 2 and 3, Systems Operations and Management and Information Systems Security, respectively, of the U.S. Department of Transportation's Information Technology Omnibus Procurement II (ITOP II). ITOP is a Government-wide acquisition contract with a ceiling of $10B over the seven-year contract period. The Lockheed Martin team, assembled to support Lot 2, expects to provide Network Support, Seat Management, Software Maintenance, Help Desk Services, Telecommunications Support, Independent Verification and Validity, and other Systems Operations and Management tasks to federal, state and local agencies. Lockheed Martin Information Support Services is supported by Lockheed Martin Mission Systems of Gaithersburg, Maryland on Lot 3. A wide range of security services including Computer Security, Disaster Recover, Virus Detection, Certification of Sensitive Systems, Hot-site, and Cold-site Support Services may be performed under this contract. Other members on the Lockheed Martin team include AmerInd; LESCO; bd Systems, Inc.; Systex; Trident; and Xeda.
