Lockheed Martin Corporation Responds to Class Action Lawsuit
BETHESDA, MD, January 14th, 1999 -- Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE: LMT) announced today that Mohammad Yousefi and David Kane, and the law firm Milberg Weiss, filed a complaint in the United States District Court for the Central District of California against Lockheed Martin [and certain directors and officers]. The complaint was filed as a purported class action on behalf of all shareholders of Lockheed Martin stock from August 13, 1998 through December 23, 1998. The complaint alleges that the defendants have violated the federal securities laws. The plaintiffs' legal claims are entirely without merit and Lockheed Martin intends to defend the action vigorously.
