BETHESDA, MD, 20-DEC-00 -- Lockheed Martin Global Telecommunications (LMGT) will provide information technology support to global publishing company Simon & Schuster under a multi-year agreement announced today. The services will be provided by LMGT's commercial information technology (IT) services organization that provides IT outsourcing, eBusiness solutions, enterprise integration, and learning solutions to enterprise customers in the U.S. and worldwide. This unit, formerly known as Lockheed Martin Integrated Business Solutions (IBS), will be responsible for providing mainframe and midrange hosting and processing, applications development and maintenance, network operations, disaster recovery and help desk support to Simon & Schuster. These services will be provided out of LMGT's Manhattan data center.
