Lockheed Martin's Eagan Operations Honored with Minnesota American Business Ethics Award 2000

EAGAN, MN, 19-JUN-00 -- Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics & Surveillance Systems-Eagan (NE&SS-Eagan) has been honored with the Minnesota American Business Ethics Award for 2000. The award, sponsored by the Minnesota Chapters of the Society of Financial Service Professionals in partnership with the Center for Ethical Business Cultures, the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, and KMSP-TV, recognizes Minnesota businesses that have exemplified and promoted ethical conduct for the benefit of the workplace, marketplace, environment, and the community. NE&SS-Eagan, a part of Lockheed Martin's Systems Integration business area, was selected for the award from a field of finalists which included other Fortune 500 companies. As a result of this honor, NE&SS-Eagan's name will be placed in a national competition this year that will culminate in nominating three national American Business Ethics Award winners.

We're delighted with this award because it underscores for our customers and employees that by providing an environment that supports honesty, integrity, respect, trust, responsibility, and citizenship we have the opportunity to achieve excellence in our workplace, said Tom Lindquist, director, Communications, NE&SS-Eagan. We are indeed fortunate that our company comprises excellent people who have a strong sense of ethics and integrity and live by these standards.
