Education is Top Priority at LM Aeronautics - Fort Worth
Fort Worth, Texas, 15-MAY-00 -- Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company – Fort Worth is hosting the seventh annual education fair, themed Elect Your Future: Vote Yes for Education, Thursday, May 18, 2000, on company grounds.
Employees can attain information from over 46 colleges and universities across the country regarding degrees in fields ranging from engineering to advertising. The fair will also provide employees with information on how to receive a GED.
In addition to offering information to employees seeking degrees, Lockheed Martin will recognize employees who received a degree in the past year. At this graduation ceremony, the employees will receive a certificate when they walk across the stage.
Few companies provide opportunities for their employees to further their education to the extent of LM Aero – Fort Worth. The company encourages its employees to take advantage of the tuition assistance program, one of many employee benefits. Education mutually benefits the employee and the company.
