Lockheed Martin Wins OSD IT Contract
OWEGO, NY, 12-JAN-01 -- Lockheed Martin Systems Integration - Owego has been awarded a 10-year competitive procurement from the General Services Administration (GSA) for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) to provide Information Technology (IT) Services as prime contractor, in support of the OSD's Operational Information Technology Environment at the Pentagon. The potential value of this ID/IQ contract is approximately $400 million. Under the terms of this contract, the company's Systems Solutions unit in Manassas, Va. will provide seat management, network services, application packages and development, information assurance, document management, and enterprise e-mail. As part of the team, Lockheed Martin Information Support Services in Seabrook, Md., will support OSD desktop systems on an outsourced seat management basis and provide related infrastructure support.
