Lynne V. Cheney Resigns From Lockheed Martin Board
BETHESDA, MD, 05-JAN-01 -- Lockheed Martin today announced the resignation of Lynne V. Cheney from the Lockheed Martin Board of Directors. Mrs. Cheney had been a member of the board since the time of the Lockheed-Martin Marietta merger in 1995. She also served as a director of Lockheed Corporation from 1994 until 1995. Vance Coffman, Lockheed Martin Chairman and CEO said, Lynne will be missed. She has been a strong member of our Board of Directors and an active member of our Finance and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees.
