Lockheed Martin Announces onSchedule(tm) Extension to MaxiStar(tm) Product Suite
GAITHERSBURG, MD, 03/06/2001 -- Lockheed Martin today announced MaxiStar(tm) onSchedule(tm), an extension of the MaxiStar product that allows users to automatically resolve conflicts between equipment production and maintenance schedules. MaxiStar onSchedule eliminates the tedious, time-consuming task of manually correcting schedule conflicts, a chore that can cost an organization valuable time, money and resources. MaxiStar onSchedule uses a powerful schedule optimization engine with advanced algorithms and artificial intelligence techniques to automatically compare production and maintenance schedules. It not only generates a new schedule, but also feeds that schedule directly into the MaxiStar product with little or no human intervention. Organizations can dramatically reduce equipment downtime.
An organizations can not afford to let equipment scheduling conflicts hinder production cycles, said Terry Drabant, President of Lockheed Martin Mission Systems. MaxiStar onSchedule is designed to handle even the most complex scheduling problems for organizations large or small. The onSchedule product enables the organization to optimize the availability and use of enterprise assets, which saves time and money and helps to make equipment investments that much more valuable.
The onSchedule capability is part of a full suite of MaxiStar products that encompass the breadth of operational management, maintenance scheduling, safety and quality controls, and the financial tracking of enterprise assets.
