Lockheed Martin Awarded Integration Services Task Order from Defense Finance and Accounting Service
OWEGO, NY, July 9th, 2002 -- Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $4.4 million task order under its existing Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Financial Integrated Systems Services II Blanket Purchase Agreement, with a potential value of up to $20 million over the next five years, to provide integration services for the DFAS Patuxent River Technical Support Organization. The DFAS provides accounting and payroll services to the Department of Defense (DoD). This contract supports the Defense Industrial Financial Management System (DIFMS), the NAVAIR Industrial Material Management System (NIMMS), the Automated Bill of Material (ABOM) system, and the DFAS Integration Engine (IE).
Lockheed Martin is responsible for the overall sustainment, refinement and modernization of the current DFAS architecture and the associated implementation processes. Lockheed Martin will provide staffing, software maintenance, quality assurance, software configuration management and requirements management support. The base contract has been awarded for a five-year period.
