Lockheed Martin Names New Business Operations Vice President For Its Simulation, Training & Support Operating Unit
ORLANDO, FL, 01-FEB-05 -- Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has named Leonard Hicks as Vice President of Business Operations for its Simulation, Training & Support operating unit. Hicks will oversee business matters relating to accounting, compliance, contracting, facilities, financial systems, planning and property management.
“Leonard’s experience in a variety of Lockheed Martin businesses will allow him to make a measurable and positive impact on our business,” said Dan Crowley, Lockheed Martin Simulation, Training & Support president. “He has substantial experience in finance and business operations and a strong track record supporting many significant Lockheed Martin programs.
Hicks comes to Orlando from Lockheed Martin Space Systems, Sunnyvale, CA, where he most recently served as Director of Finance & Business Operations for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense program. He has served in various roles in the L-1011 program, F-117 Night Hawk, P-3 Orion, Fleet Ballistic Missile, Remotely Piloted Vehicle, and International Space Station.
He earned an M.B.A. in Business Administration from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, CA and a B.S. in Management from Tabor College, Hillsboro, KS.
