Personal Computer Recycling Drop-Off Set for May 14
OWEGO, NY, 10-MAY-05 -- Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT], IBM’s Endicott Asset Recovery, Huron Real Estate Ltd. and Universal Instruments will conduct the annual PC Take Back Day on Saturday, May 14, to take back and recycle unwanted personally-owned computer products, free of charge.
Personal computer products can be delivered to any of these locations from 7 a.m. until noon:
- IBM Asset Recovery Center, corner of Odell Avenue and Clark Street in Endicott
- Lockheed Martin, Victory Plaza facility near Moore Tire Sales on Taylor Road, Owego
- Universal Instruments, 90 Bevier Street, Binghamton
Personal computer products (monitors, processing units, keyboards, cables, mouse, modems, disk drives, desktop printers and peripherals) from any manufacturer will be accepted. IBM AS/400 and System/360 families of products, and other electronic equipment, such as televisions or radios, are excluded from this offering.
A release form must be completed in order to drop off equipment. Forms will be available at all drop-off locations. The participating companies reserve the right to reject any product.
NOTE: It is the responsibility of the owner of the equipment being turned in to ensure the items do not contain any personal or confidential information, and data should be deleted from all storage devices prior to drop-off.
