LMB0043 National Cancer Institute Experience

Lockheed Martin is in need of small business suppliers that have relevant past performance with the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and/or Life Sciences and/or national lab research facilities.  Specifically we want to provide Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone SB), Veteran Owned (VOSB), and Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOSB) businesses the chance to provide their unique products and services needed for NCI, though we welcome all small business suppliers.

We are looking for subcontractors who do the following:)
1.  Commercial goods/services (primarily FAR Part 12/13)
2.  Research and development services and subcontracts (primarily FAR 15)
3.  Construction services (FAR 36)

Lockheed Martin is seeking small businesses with experience developing multispectral training databases for flight simulation.  Customer set includes US Air Force, Navy, Marines, as well as international customers.  Interested suppliers are requested to take two actions.  First, submit a capabilities statement to supplier-diversity.dp-gtl@lmco.com referencing “LMB0044 Multispectral Training Database Experience.”  Include the following type of information in your capabilities statement:  Past experience with multispectral training database development, hardware platforms, image generators, software tools, development capabilities/processes, development capacity, calendar time for development (include # of geocells as an indication of the size of the database).  Respond as soon as possible, but no later than June 30 to be considered for bid opportunities in 2015.  Identify site locations where your company has multispectral training databases experience.  Second, input your company information at http://www.lockheedmartin.com/us/suppliers/doingbusiness.html.  Send nothing proprietary or marked as proprietary. 

LMB0045, Software Engineering

Lockheed Martin is in need of Small Business Suppliers to provide software engineering resources as requested by Buyer to execute assigned program/project tasks:

Strong and versatile software development and engineering skills needed to support development on a number of projects. Project skills required include strong real-time Java, JavaScript, C++ and Web front-end and/or back-end applications using modern Web frameworks.

  • Basic skills: C++, Java, JavaEE, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, Linux, web development, OO design and development, C# on Linux OS
  • Desired skills: Extensive UI/front-end development experience, Visual Studio C#, networking and data communications experience, ClearCase
  • Must have active TS/SCI security clearance

Assigned tasks are likely to include development of software architecture and code artifacts, system verification, and trouble shooting and defect resolution.  Generally speaking, opportunities exist in the following labor categories:

E3 – Software Developer or Database Engineer; typically 9 – 15 years of experience
E4 – Software Developer or Database Engineer; typically 5 – 9 years of experience
E5 – Software Developer or Database Engineer; typically 2 – 5 years of experience

Geographic requirements will include but not be limited to:
