System Testing and Detail Work Continues

This week on the Lockheed Martin facility, crews continued the testing of process equipment and instrument communications systems. Installation crews continued to address process area punch list items, including piping, wiring and metal walkways. In the office area, crews completed the installation of carpet, tile flooring, and vinyl baseboards. We also completed the installation of the building fire alarm system, and continued addressing office area painting, door trim, and electrical punch list items.

In the field, crews began installing protective bollards around off-facility structures on 76th Avenue Drive and in the Airport Commerce Center. Workers also continued testing communications, addressing punch list items, and installing wiring at off-facility well vault and control panel locations.

Next week, all exterior construction activities will be suspended on January 21st in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  Upon return on Tuesday, field crews will continue installing off-facility wiring, shrubbery around several of the off facility structures, and addressing punch list items. Building crews will continue testing process equipment and communications systems, operator training, and addressing punch list items in both process and office areas.

As always, if anyone has any questions about these construction activities, please give me a call at 941-554-3862 or 1-800-449-4486 and I’ll do my best to get the appropriate answers to your questions.
