Work Continuing on Pre-System Startup Operations

This week on the Lockheed Martin facility, crews continued pre-system startup operations including operator training, testing of process equipment and instrument communications systems, and testing of the extraction well pumps. Well water was successfully pumped to the plant, treated, and discharged to the sanitary sewer.

Crews continued addressing minor punch list items in the building and in the field operations.

Next week, we will continue with the pre-startup activities and crew members will work at various off-facility vault and panel locations during testing operations. Activities will also include operational readiness reviews to begin verifying that the system startup will be ready for startup.

As always, if anyone has any questions about these construction activities, please give me a call at 941-554-3862 or 1-800-449-4486 and I’ll do my best to get the appropriate answers to your questions.
