This week on the Lockheed Martin facility, construction crews continued with process equipment and piping installation, office area framing, and plumbing, mechanical, and electrical conduit rough-in activities. Crews also continued with roofing, soffit, and window installation, and pressure washing and painting on the building exterior.
Horizontal drilling activities began on Tallevast Road, and vault and piping installation work continued at the facility. Pressure testing of the piping continued at the railroad right of way area. The site also continued receiving facility process equipment and tanks.
Next week, building construction will continue with the interior rough-in and framing activities. Placement of concrete equipment pads, equipment and piping in the process area will also continue. We will begin installing exterior doors, and will continue with exterior painting.
On-facility vault and piping installation will continue, as well as horizontal drilling and vault installations in the Tallevast Road right of way. As scheduled, pressure testing will follow piping installation.
