Sondra L. Barbour
Senior Vice President, Enterprise Business Services and
Chief Information Officer
Sondra Barbour is the Senior Vice President of the Enterprise Business Services organization and Chief Information Officer for the Lockheed Martin Corporation. She is responsible for all internal information technology operations, including protection of the corporation’s information infrastructure from cyber threats; Financial Services and the Environmental, Health and Safety organization. She leads a team of 5,500 professionals located around the globe. Ms. Barbour is a member of the Executive Diversity Council and is the executive sponsor for the People with Disabilities Leadership Forum.
On January 23, Lockheed Martin’s Board of Directors elected Ms. Barbour as the next Executive Vice President, Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Solutions, effective April 1, 2013.
Previously, Ms. Barbour was Vice President, Corporate Shared Services, where she provided the strategic and tactical leadership of the Financial Services, Human Resources Services, International Services, Global Supply Chain Management, and Energy, Environment, Safety and Health functions from February, 2007 to January, 2008.
She also previously served as the Vice President of Corporate Internal Audit. In that role, she was responsible for providing independent assessments of governance, internal controls and risk management across Lockheed Martin Corporation from February, 2006 to February, 2007.
Prior to that position, Ms. Barbour served as Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Operations for Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems & Solutions where she was responsible for the Information Technology, Facilities, Supply Chain, Technical Publications, and Environment, Health & Safety operations. Her career includes extensive leadership and technology experience, notably in the design and development of large-scale information systems.
Ms. Barbour holds a bachelor’s degree from Temple University in Computer Science and Accounting. She is also a graduate of Lockheed Martin’s Program Management Development Program.
