Tweetup: F-22 Final Assembly Rollout Ceremony
On Dec. 13, 2011, we celebrated a moment in history at the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics factory in Marietta, Ga. -- the rollout of the last production F-22 and our first-ever Tweetup. We started small and local with this Tweetup, inviting 14 of our followers to get up close and personal with the F-22 and other aircraft produced at the factory. Tweeps experienced:
- Attendance at the F-22 Final Assembly Rollout Ceremony
- A tour of the Marietta factory, including the F-22 Raptor, the C-130J Super Hercules and the P-3 Orion wing assembly production areas
- Discussion time with an F-22 test pilot and our resident Lockheed Martin historian, and
- The opportunity to fly the F-22 cockpit demonstrator
