For over 35 years, Lockheed Martin has proudly partnered with the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), demonstrating our commitment to empowering women at every stage of their engineering careers. Through this partnership, we provide meaningful opportunities for mentorship, professional development, and career advancement in STEM fields.
Last week, our recruitment team attended the SWE 2024 Conference, where we had the change to meet and engage with inspiring women engineers. The event was a tremendous success, showcasing the many career paths available at Lockheed Martin. We are excited to welcome some of these talent professionals into our workforce soon.
Diversity is at the core of our recruitment efforts. Lockheed Martin’s Diversity Recruitment Council, led by Ericka, ensures we attract and retain top talent from diverse backgrounds. Ericka, an active SWE member and key talent acquisition leader within Lockheed Martin, collaborates with our teams to build inclusive recruitment strategies that foster innovation and drive workforce representation.
This year’s SWE conference marked an exciting milestone—for the first time, Lockheed Martin extended an on-the-spot job offer to an experienced professional. This achievement reflects our continued efforts to attract top talent and highlights our commitment to creating a workforce where diversity drives innovation.
At Lockheed Martin, we believe that diverse perspectives drive innovation, and partnerships like SWE help us connect with exceptional talent. We are proud to foster an environment where women in STEM thrive, with access to meaningful opportunities, professional growth, and a culture of collaboration and support. We look forward to continuing to build a diverse workforce that shapes the future.
