U.S. Navy Awards Lockheed Martin the SEWIP AN/SLQ-32(V)6 Design Agent Engineering Services contract to provide support of AN/SLQ-32(V)6 production and fielding efforts.

Lockheed Martin Awarded $14.7M to Provide the U.S. Navy with SEWIP AN/SLQ-32(V)6 Design Agent Engineering Services

 

SYRACUSE, N.Y., November 1, 2018 – Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) received $14.7 million for AN/SLQ-32(V)6 design agent engineering services, incidental material and travel. This is a five-year contract award of up to $75 million if all options are exercised, to provide the U.S. Navy with Design Agent Engineering Services in support of AN/SLQ-32(V)6 production and fielding efforts. Services include engineering efforts to perform analysis and design, document engineering baselines; and modification of systems, subsystems, and components for test and evaluation.

AN/SLQ-32(V)6 incorporates Electronic Support receiver, antenna, and combat system interface upgrades, as well as adding the High Gain High Sensitivity (HGHS) adjunct sensor,  the Specific Emitter Identification(SEI) adjunct sensor, the AN/SLA-10D blanker, and a Liquid Conditioning Unit (LCU).

Lockheed Martin has provided the U.S. Navy with SEWIP Block 1B3 development, production,  and engineering services since 2002 and SEWIP Block 2 development, production and engineering services since 2009. AN/SLQ-32(V)6 Design Agent Engineering Services will be performed at the Electronic Warfare Center of Excellence in the Syracuse, New York facility.
