We believe it's important for students to think seriously about ethics before they enter the workforce.
On Feb. 28 and March 1, 2022, we hosted our fifth annual Ethics in Engineering Case Competition as a fully remote event, where 24 colleges and universities presented their solutions to a fictional case involving ethical, business and engineering dilemmas.
The annual event compels students to think about the importance of performing with integrity in the workplace and the various dilemmas that can arise, especially in the multifaceted and fast-paced world of technology.

Meet The 2022 Winners
For the first time ever, because of the double elimination tournament, the U.S. Air Force Academy and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy both took first place!
The University of Florida came in 2nd place. The semi-finalists also included the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the Naval Academy and West Point Military Academy.
“This has been an incredible experience," said Thomas McCloskey from the U.S. Air Force Academy. "After every round in the competition, you learn something else and that was really important for us.”
“As students, we can appreciate how important it is to have these ethics mentorships," said Catherine McAlister from the U.S. Air Force Academy. "We learn a lot through this process with their guidance and faith. It’s been a really incredible experience!”
