History of AAG
AAG Helicopters – Move Forward with Unmatched Service, Safety, Reliability
Associated Aircraft Group (AAG) has been the premier executive helicopter company in the northeastern United States for more than 30 years. AAG offers a range of services, including private charter, fractional ownership, aircraft management and maintenance. AAG operates the Sikorsky S-76 helicopter exclusively, the safest name in helicopters.
AAG was founded by pioneers in the helicopter industry in 1989 with what started as a small charter operation. Ten years later, Sikorsky Aircraft purchased AAG for its unique business model to compliment the Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation and to lay the foundations for the Sikorsky Fractional Shares program. AAG is the only helicopter operator that is owned by the manufacturer of the only aircraft it operates, the Sikorsky S-76. The operation has multiple bases throughout the Northeast region, including Wappingers Falls, NY, Bridgeport, CT, Teterboro and Trenton, NJ and Providence, RI.
Through our VIP Platinum Solutions, we offer a world of travel that gives more flexibility, more simplicity and more productivity. Clients enjoy the freedom of flying point to point – whenever they need to travel, relaxing in comfort and luxury in the privacy of the best helicopters on the market.

Leaders around the world depend on the Sikorsky S-76 executive helicopter as the ultimate transportation tool. More than 170+ customers operate S-76 helicopters in a Corporate or VIP role and 10 countries rely on the S-76 for the Head of State mission.
The S-76 fleet’s legacy has more than 40 years and 7.4 million hours of safe flight and is committed to supporting the platform and to continuous product improvements.
Our fleet of Sikorsky S-76 helicopters share the same DNA as sophisticated military aircraft and life-saving Search and Rescue aircraft. We are strong believers in Sikorsky’s mission statement, “we pioneer flight solutions that bring people home everywhere … every time.”
THE HIGHEST PRIORITY
We carry Sikorsky’s commitment to safety on every flight. Before each flight, our expert technicians maintain the aircraft to the highest standards. In the air, each flight is powered by dual engines, each strong enough to fly the helicopter by itself, with full instrument flight rule (IFR) capabilities to fly safely under reduced weather conditions and always with two experienced pilots in control. There is no higher priority than our customer’s safety.
