The U.S. Air Force C-130 Aircrew Training System (ATS) provides an effective and comprehensive academic and simulation training program developed specifically for C-130 aircrew.
Headquartered at Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas, the C-130 ATS schoolhouse is the Department of Defense’s C-130 formal training Center of Excellence. The program supports active duty Air Force, Air Force Reserve Airmen and Air National Guard Aircrews as well as Coast Guard, Marine Corps and international customers.
Aircrews from more than 18 countries also train with the system. On average, the DoD trains over 6,500 students on ATS each year. Lockheed Martin provides C-130 aircrew and maintenance training through academic and ground-based simulator instruction. The system includes agile training for all aircrew positions, refresher courses, cockpit resource management (initial and recurring), instrument refresher courses and the instructor preparatory course.
Lockheed Martin continuously evolves the C-130 ATS program based on customer needs and requirements by affordably integrating new technology and coursework.
