Self-Certification Updates and Socio-Economic Profile in Exostar

Existing suppliers are required to annually self‐certify their socio‐economic status in Exostar as well as verify that their profile information is accurate and complete. E-mail alerts will be sent, as reminders, to active suppliers whose self-certifications are to expire at the 30, 14 and 7 day mark via Exostar. If socioeconomic certification is not updated, the supplier will revert to NA in the self certification fields. This will affect all POs issued after the self certification expires.

To do so, please complete the following steps:

  1. Login to your Exostar MAG account
  2. Access the Organization Details sub‐tab under My Account tab.
  3. Select 'View in Trading Partner Management (TPM)' to access the organization profile. Review the address information on the Organization Summary screen. Changes must be done at the following link on the dun & bradstreet website
  4. Select Business Description on the left‐hand navigation.
  5. On the Business Description screen, update the Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN) or Social Security Number (SSN) information, if required.
  6. Scroll to the bottom and select Save
  7. Select Self‐Certification on the left‐hand navigation (all self‐certifications must be either Yes or No, or Small or Large in the case of small business)
  8. On the Self‐Certification screen, update your self‐certification for Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman Owned Small Business, HUBZone, Veteran Owned, and Service Disabled Veteran Owned.
  9. Scroll to the bottom and select Certify Size & Status (by selecting the 'Certify Size and Status' button will save your selections and certify them for another year)
  10. Select the Contacts section on the left‐hand navigation.
  11. Update outdated contact information
  12. Scroll to the bottom and select Save
  13. Select Close
