Small Business Sized Differently

September 2019 --

Lockheed Martin broadcasted a memo to our supply chain, effective September 13, 2019 to discuss the recent updated monetary-based industry size standards from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). A size-standard represents the largest size that a business may be to remain classified as a small business for SBA and federal contracting programs. Typically, small businesses usual state these standards by number of employees or average annual receipts. These standards were updated to account for inflation from the last adjustment in 2014.

To determine if your NAICS code size has changed, please select the SBA Size Standards button below. If it changed, your company will need to update your Exostar Trading Partner Manager profile accordingly. The system will be making the necessary systematic changes to reflect the correct size standards as well.
