Migration to Lockheed Martin Fieldglass Effective July 27 for Wave Two

The business area(s) you support determines which of the two implementation waves impact you. The Vendor Invoice Processor (VIP) system used today will be retired and replaced with the Lockheed Martin Fieldglass (LM Fieldglass) system, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution. This article focuses on suppliers and workers impacted by Wave Two.

  • Wave One Population: Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations
  • Wave Two Population: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Rotary and Mission Systems and Space business areas.

Wave Two - What to Expect July 27, 2020

As of July 27, you will enter data, record time or submit expenses in LM Fieldglass and no longer enter the data through VIP. At that time, all current VIP user data and open purchase orders will be established in LM Fieldglass.

What Do I Need to Do to Be Ready?

Lockheed Martin Fieldglass can be accessed via Google Chrome (recommended browser.) Microsoft Internet Explorer is also supported. Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge are not recommended. Training will be made available in an on-demand/self-paced approach, with system demonstrations, job aids and video tutorials based on user role. You will receive additional communications throughout the training period.

How Will I Learn How to Use Lockheed Martin Fieldglass?

You will have an opportunity to access on-demand/self-paced training utilizing pre-recorded system demonstrations based on user role, access to job aids and video tutorials detailing functionality and tasks within the LM Fieldglass system, including:

  • Accessing the System/Important Information
  • Submitting Time and Expense Sheets
  • Submitting Bulk Claims
  • Terminology Changes

How Will My Employees Learn How to Use Lockheed Martin Fieldglass?

LM Fieldglass is a user-friendly and intuitive system. When first logging into the system, a Welcome Tour will automatically launch and guide you through the system. Workers also have access to the on-demand/self-paced resource library. Resources include:

  • Accessing the system/Important information
  • Helpful video demonstrations
  • Detailed job aids
  • Information on where to find more help
  • FAQs

In addition, communications will be distributed to all VIP users that will include how to access the above information to prepare them for the transition to LM Fieldglass. All users will be provided with a detailed go-live readiness package that will help prepare them for their transition.
