Updated U.S. Facility Guidelines-Jan. 2022

January 2022 --

Consistent with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance and Lockheed Martin policy, the following requirements apply to all individuals seeking access to a U.S. based Lockheed Martin facility, effective January 24, 2022:

  1. Lockheed Martin visitors, resident non-employees, subcontractors and suppliers who fail to certify their status as “I am fully vaccinated” through VisitLM are required to wear a mask and physically distance at U.S. locations where business is conducted.
  2. Lockheed Martin visitors, resident non-employees, subcontractors and suppliers who certify that they are fully vaccinated* through VisitLM are not required to wear a mask or physically distance at U.S. Lockheed Martin locations where business is conducted unless they are:
  • in an indoor setting in counties of substantial or high transmission (as defined by the CDC);
  • required by federal, state, local, Business Area**, or site-specific rules and regulations; or
  • exposed to and/or tested positive for COVID-19 (see additional guidance below).

* Individuals are considered "fully vaccinated" two weeks after they have received the second dose in a two-dose series COVID-19 vaccine, or two weeks after they have received a single-dose  COVID-19 vaccine. In addition, the CDC recommends that individuals stay “up to date” (i.e., an individual has received all recommended COVID-19 vaccines, including any booster dose(s) when eligible).

** Note: Masks are required indoors at all U.S. Aeronautics sites, regardless of vaccination status.

3. When masks are required, Lockheed Martin visitors, resident non-employees, subcontractors and suppliers shall wear a 3-ply or higher quality face mask. No cloth masks or neck gaiters are allowed.

4. Regardless of vaccination status, if a Lockheed Martin visitor, resident non-employee, subcontractor or supplier has a known exposure to someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19, the exposed individual must not seek access to a Lockheed Martin facility until (a) completing a 5-day quarantine period, and (b) after the 5-day period, receiving a negative test result (tested 3-5 days after exposure) and experiencing no symptoms of COVID-19. If the individual comes onsite to a Lockheed Martin facility within 5 days after the time period(s), the individual must avoid travel on Lockheed Martin business, monitor for symptoms, wear a well-fitting mask & socially distance.

5. Regardless of vaccination status, if a Lockheed Martin visitor, resident non-employee, subcontractor or supplier has tested positive for or is diagnosed with symptoms of COVID-19, the individual should not seek access to a Lockheed Martin facility until (a) completing a 5-day isolation period, and (b) after the 5-day period,  experiencing no symptoms of COVID-19 as identified by the CDC at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html or as cleared to return to work by a medical professional.  If the individual comes onsite to a Lockheed Martin facility within 5 days after the time period(s), the individual must avoid travel on Lockheed Martin business, monitor for symptoms, wear a well-fitting mask & socially distance.
