The Stratford, Connecticut Code Quest will be held at:

  • One advanced and one novice team per school or STEM program will be allowed to participate. Schools may register additional teams, but they will be waitlisted and accepted on a first come, first served basis on or after March 2nd. If an additional team is accepted, you will be notified via email.
  • All students must provide documentation on the day of the event as outlined in the Stratford Visitor Guide.
  • For US Permanent Resident or Green Card holders, documentation information as outlined in the Stratford Visitor Guide must be provided in advance as additional time will be required for registration.
  • Coaches can be U.S. and non-U.S. citizens that are US Permanent Resident or Green Card holders.
  • All coaches must provide documentation on the day of the event as outlined in the Stratford Visitor Guide.
  • For US Permanent Resident or Green Card holders, documentation information as outlined in the Stratford Visitor Guide must be provided in advance as additional time will be required for registration.
  • Full legal names are required for coaches and students on registration and all forms (i.e., registration name must be an exact match with documentation name).
  • UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES are ANY cell phones, smart watches, e-readers, broad-band network cards or recording devices allowed inside the facility.  Please leave ALL phones in your cars.  Since cell phones will not be allowed in any building, we will provide a number where family and friends can reach you in case of emergency. If you are observed in possession of any of these devices, your team is subject to immediate disqualification
  • Backpacks are discouraged. If brought, they will be stored until the competition is complete. Please leave valuables at home or in car prior to entering the facility.
  • Recommendation for Novice level is all students on a team with 1 year or less of coding classes and/or competitions in the languages used (not cumulative) at Code Quest. If there is a student with more than 1-year experience in the coding languages being used, that team should register as Advanced. The coach can make the determination at what level their team will compete at depending on what language(s) the team will use at the competition.
