The RAF Honors C-130 History Through Art
The Royal Air Force’s (RAF) C-130J Super Hercules known as ZH883 certainly stands out among its peers at this year’s Royal International Air Tattoo.... literally! This C-130J showcases a commemorative paint scheme saluting the 50th anniversary of the delivery of the Royal Air Force’s first C-130 Hercules in 1966. This celebrates 50 years of world-class partnership between the RAF, Lockheed Martin and Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group, who together have supported the RAF Hercules fleet for 50 years.
A special paint livery was designed to celebrate this very special milestone. Learn more about the work that went into creating this truly herculean work of art!
