About Lockheed Martin Procerus Technologies

Acquired in January 2012, Lockheed Martin Procerus Technologies is the developer of the Kestrel™ Autopilot avionics and Virtual Cockpit™ system for fixed-wing and rotary aircraft. Additional products include small vertical take-off and landing platforms and OnPoint OnBoard™ vision systems for target tracking, stabilization, geo-location and terminal guidance applications.

Procerus designs miniature avionics, payloads, and guidance technologies specifically targeted for mini and micro UAS systems using leading edge miniaturization and design techniques.  The Kestrel family of autopilots is fully integrated and is easily the most elegant autopilot design package on the market today.

Procerus autopilots are used in a variety of UAVs ranging in size from 12” and 24” back-packable UAVs to 10-foot wingspan aerial reconnaissance platforms. Procerus sells autopilot and ground control products to systems integrators and researchers within military, academic, defense industry and private research institutions.

Procerus Technologies is proud to offer the Indago VTOL system which features unmatched portability, noise signature and industry leading 45 minute flight time.  The Indago system is a complete, ready-to-fly package which includes wireless handcontroller, charger, and a variety of payloads to suite military, commercial, and civil applications.

Weighing in at only 210 grams, Procerus is also proud to offer the Perceptor dual sensor gimbal. It provides a very light, small package with high precision pointing accuracies.  It contains dual sensor EO and IR imagers onboard with an optional laser pointer.  This high performance miniature payload provides 360 degree, continuous rotation, gyro stabilized HD digital, for a variety of small UAV applications.

Procerus also provides powerful Target Tracking, Video Stabilization, Geo-Location technologies. OnPoint Targeting is available for use with the Kestrel Autopilot System.

Directions from the Salt Lake City International Airport:

  • From the airport take I-80 eastbound to the I-215 interchange
  • Transfer to I-215 southbound toward Orem/Provo, connecting with
    the I-15 interchange (south)
  • Travel south toward Orem/Provo for about 40 miles
  • Exit at the Orem Center Street Exit – go West
  • Continue west until coming to Geneva Road
  • Turn left, heading south, to 500 South on Geneva Road
  • Lockheed Martin Procerus Technologies is on the west side of the road
