Six years ago, Natasha attended the National Society of Black Engineers’ (NSBE) convention. NSBE is one of the largest student-governed organizations based in the United States that promotes the aspirations of collegiate, pre-collegiate students and technical professionals in engineering and technology.
Because the company is so large and has so many opportunities, It's really easy to find yourself in those roles learning those technologies that you'd like to learn.

AI Engineer

After the interview at the career fair, she landed two summer internships on the F-35 Flight Simulator.

Two-years after becoming a full-time employee, she was tapped for the Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP). This intensive three-year rotational program enhanced her software engineering expertise while teaching leadership skills.

After that, she took a job as an AI engineer. For Lockheed Martin, AI is a critical enabler in its mission to deliver 21st Century Security® solutions to create a safer, more secure world.

Natasha
I learned so much. I was working on the same thing that all the other Software Engineers were working on, and I still talk to all of the people that I interned with pretty regularly.
