In 2015, Lockheed Martin launched its annual Law Firm Diversity Assessment and today announced that national law firm, Shook, Hardy & Bacon, was selected to receive our 2022 recognition for Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion. This honor recognizes the firm’s diverse staffing profile and year-over-year improvement in this area.

Lockheed Martin’s annual Law Firm Diversity Assessment compared diversity data provided by Shook, Hardy & Bacon and other top law firms with industry averages and analyzed the data across the diversity dimensions of female, non-Caucasian, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered (LGBT) persons, individuals with disabilities, and veteran status for the total firm (US-based only), staffing of Lockheed Martin matters, and equity partnership.  

Shook, Hardy & Bacon succeeded in increasing the percentage of hours billed by females and minorities on Lockheed Martin matters and continues its strong representation of diverse attorneys on their Executive Committee. These increases contributed to Shook, Hardy & Bacon’s exceptional performance.
