Updated U.S. Facility Guidelines-Jan. 2022

March 01, 2022

Effective March 1, Lockheed Martin will adopt modified guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to help sites determine whether onsite workers and visitors shall be required to wear masks. The CDC has introduced revised COVID-19 Community Levels (high, medium and low) that factor new cases, hospital admissions and community hospital occupancy into decision criteria.

If the COVID-19 Community Level at a Lockheed Martin site is low or medium, individuals working at or visiting that site are not required to wear a mask – regardless of their vaccination status. However, if the COVID-19 Community Level at a Lockheed Martin site is high, individuals working at or visiting that site are required to wear a mask, regardless of their vaccination status.

At all times and regardless of COVID-19 Community Level, individuals must also wear a mask following COVID-19 exposure or quarantine, per the safety protocol addressed in our Jan. 20 supplier communication.
