F-35 Greece

F-35 Lightning II

The F-35 stands ready as the most capable solution for the Hellenic Air Force. The F-35 brings 5th Generation technologies, including low observable stealth with fighter aircraft performance, sensor fusion, net-enabled operations and electronic warfare capabilities. Combine the jet’s performance with an array of sensors that allow the pilot to maintain a complete picture of the threat environment.

The F-35 provides a powerful solution for Greece’s national security requirements. The world’s greatest air forces use the F-35 to meet national security needs. Many of Greece’s traditional partners, such as the United Kingdom, Italy, Israel, the Netherlands, Norway, Denmark and the United States, are operating F-35s in the European theatre today. Belgium, Finland, Switzerland and Poland have also selected the F-35 and will soon operate in the country.

F-16 Greece

F-16 Fighting Falcon

The combat-proven F-16 plays a vital role in safeguarding Greece’s national sovereignty and defending Greek national airspace. Lockheed Martin and the Hellenic Aerospace Industry are partnering to upgrade a significant portion of the Hellenic Air Force F-16 fleet to the cutting-edge F-16V configuration. These upgrades will deliver a significant increase in capability for the HAF combat aircraft fleet, enabling the HAF to stay ahead of emerging threats and join the allied global mission.

MH-60R Greece

MH-60R

In 2020, Greece decided to add the MH-60R to their fleets. This agreement build on long-standing partnerships between Lockheed Martin and Hellenic Armed Forces. The MH-60R is known as “the world’s most advanced maritime helicopter.” And for good reason – there’s already more than 300 of them operating worldwide. By its commitment to acquiring the MH-60R, Greece will have unprecedented capability to perform anti-surface and anti-submarine warfare missions, along with the ability to perform secondary missions including vertical replenishment and search and rescue operations. Greece will be able to use the enhanced MH-60R capability as a deterrent to regional threats and to strengthen its homeland defense.

M270

Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) M270

The Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) is a highly mobile automatic system that fires surface-to-surface rockets from the M270 family of launcher weapons platforms. The MLRS Family of Munitions (MFOM) can be fired in less than one minute by the three-man crew. Lockheed Martin is working with customers to upgrade and extend the service life of M270 launchers. Enhancements include new 600 HP engines and fire control systems which will enable MLRS to fire next-generation munitions, including the Extended-Range Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (ER GMLRS) and Precision Strike Missile (PrSM).
