Supporting veterans in the Shoalhaven community
For veterans in the Shoalhaven, having somewhere to connect, share experiences, and simply spend time with people who understand can make the world of difference.
That’s the role of the Keith Payne VC Veterans Benefit Group, a community organisation helping veterans and their families stay connected, active and engaged across the region.
We have created a new video to shine a light on the people, programs, and community behind the Keith Payne VC Veterans Benefit Group, and the incredible difference it is making to the lives of veterans and their families in the Shoalhaven.
From Walk to Talk sessions and health and fitness activities to Digger Day, Veterans Corner gatherings, music, and martial arts programs, the Group creates opportunities for veterans to participate, belong and contribute to their local communities, ensuring no one is left behind.
Lockheed Martin Australia is proud to support this work through an ongoing partnership with the Group, which began in 2022. In 2025, Lockheed Martin Australia renewed its sponsorship for a further four years to support the Group’s social inclusion, health and wellbeing programs through to 2028.
The partnership reflects the company’s commitment to supporting those who have served their country. Veterans bring invaluable experience, skills and perspectives to Australian communities and to the workforce. Supporting their wellbeing remains an important part of our commitment to the communities in which we work in.
For the Keith Payne VC Veterans Benefit Group, it’s about creating a place where veterans can connect, contribute and feel part of something. For Lockheed Martin Australia, it is a privilege to help support that work.
Watch the video to meet some of the inspiring people behind the Keith Payne VC Veterans Benefit Group and see the positive impact of its programs in the Shoalhaven.
