Direct Commercial Sales

There is increasing demand for space-based and space-enabled capabilities across Lockheed Martin’s global customer community. Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) is a key way in which we can deliver these capabilities and solutions to our international customers.

Working within the DCS model, select foreign governments, foreign companies and international organizations can procure exportable systems and services directly from Lockheed Martin within a U.S. Government-approved and licensed framework. Lockheed Martin Space offers mission-integrated space capabilities – including intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR); positioning, navigation & timing (PNT); secure satellite communications; space-based missile warning and tracking; comprehensive ground system solutions and more – through DCS.

Our international customers can benefit from the close collaboration present in the DCS model. The direct partnership can enable a deeper understanding of the mission, a collaborative process to shape requirements and the development of tailored solutions to meet mission needs. DCS can also provide for more streamlined communication and flexible contract methods, accelerating the acquisition process.
