The Advanced Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship Program (AMTAP) is a United States Department of Labor (USDOL) Registered Apprenticeship. The AMTAP program will teach you how to build space flight hardware by providing a phased approach to learning with both classroom and hands-on learning opportunities at our LM Space facility in Courtland, AL.
No Experience, No problem! This program will teach you everything you need to be successful.

Successful candidates demonstrate the following abilities:
- Great hand and eye coordination
- Manual dexterity skills
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions
- Works well in a fast-paced, team environment
- Interested in continuously learning and adapting to ongoing industry changes
- Ability to perform precision work
$15/hr. plus benefits while in the 6-week classroom portion of the apprenticeship program.
$18.50/hr. upon offer of full-time employment.

AMTAP has cohorts starting at various times throughout the year at our sites in Colorado, Alabama, and Pennsylvania. Each location's program differs so be sure to read the FAQ sheets for each location’s specifics. Program dates and applications deadlines are featured on each location's site.
