Advanced Technology Laboratories
Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Laboratories (ATL) is an applied research and development center for scientific advancement in the areas of autonomy, robotics, artificial intelligence, command & control, human-machine symbiosis, spectrum operations, hypersonics and cyber.
ATL engineers and scientists develop and apply leading edge technologies to our customers’ most difficult problems and needs, redefining global security and transforming emerging ideas into solutions.
Chief Data & Analytics Office
The Chief Data & Analytics Office team is leading the enterprise’s data & analytics strategy. This team is responsible for execution of data and analytics in two key areas. First, the Data Refinery enables all Lockheed Martin employees with the tools and skills required to discover, extract, and refine data.
Second, the Data Strategy ensures our business processes and systems generate high quality data that can seamlessly flow between our core business systems and is easily accessible to enable business area interoperability, real-time analytics, data-driven decisions, and efficient delivery of zero-defect data products to our customers.
Communications provides timely, expert strategic communication counsel and collaboratively creates, executes and measures integrated communications plans, messages and activities that support business objectives.
Support areas include: Social Impact, Global Media & Digital Communications, Visual Communications, Marketing & Branding, Executive Communications, Business Area Communications and International.
Global Business Development
Global Business Development is an enterprise wide function responsible for managing new business opportunities with integrity, and structuring each to provide the best value for our customers and shareholders throughout the lifecycle of our products and services. The team is a highly influential and valued extension of the world’s largest and most innovative defense contractor.
Engineering & Technology
Lockheed Martin Engineering & Technology (E&T) ensures the right people, processes, tools and technologies are in place to successfully deliver innovative solutions to our customers' most complex challenges. The E&T organization provides corporate wide leadership, vision and collaborative resources to engineers, scientists and technologists at Lockheed Martin.
Enterprise Business & Digital Transformation
The enterprise business transformation organization is responsible for developing strategies and implementing integrated, cross-functional solutions that transform operations through technology, culture, and processes to deliver business-based outcomes. It comprises of the corporation’s Digital Transformation and Enterprise Information Technology teams, with more than 4,700 professionals worldwide.
Ethics and Enterprise Assurance (E&EA)
Lockheed Martin’s Ethics Office is a resource for information, advice and resolution of problems and issues to support our employees in meeting our commitment to the highest standards integrity. The ethics program is based on company values and compliance with laws, regulations and policies. Our Ethics Officers educate leaders and employees on how to promote a positive, inclusive and ethical work environment.
Finance & Business Operations (F&BO)
The Finance & Business Operations (F&BO) organization manages all aspects of Lockheed Martin’s financial strategies, processes and operations. Disciplines include Financial Management, Accounting, Estimating, Contracts and Program Finance.
Government Affairs manages all U.S. government customer relationships and develops policy, regulatory and legislative strategies with Congress for all Lockheed Martin programs, products and services. It is Lockheed Martin policy to present a single, clear, and consistent business message and approach to the Corporation’s United States-based government customer community and a unified approach to policy, regulatory, legislative and marketing strategies to advance the Corporation’s business and financial interests.
Our Human Resources Organization positively influences and impacts the enterprise by building solid relationships and offering solutions and services across a variety of HR functional areas. The Legal department is responsible for providing comprehensive counsel and legal services covering a broad range of matters. These include contract negotiations; compliance with laws and regulations; corporate governance; employee benefits and executive compensation; Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and antitrust law; intellectual property; labor and employment law; litigation management; and mergers and acquisitions, and other matters.
Security is responsible for total asset protection including people, classified information and materials, intellectual and physical property, and facilities in the United States and around the world. The team is comprised of approximately 1,800 global security professionals who deliver state-of-the-art security solutions.
The Lockheed Martin Supply Chain team partners with more than 17,200 suppliers in 64 countries to deliver solutions that capture new business, grow current programs and accelerate Lockheed Martin into the future. We process more than $34 billion in commitments annually in support of more than 200 diverse products like F-35, Orion Spacecraft, Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) and our BLACK HAWK aircraft.
