Lockheed Martin One of World’s Most Admired Companies

Fortune magazine released its list of "World's Most Admired Companies" for 2020, and Lockheed Martin ranked 2nd in the Aerospace and Defense (A&D) category. The 2020 list highlights Lockheed Martin as the 46th most admired company. This marks the 11th consecutive year Fortune has recognized Lockheed Martin for its continued leadership and management in areas such as financial soundness, global competitiveness, long-term investment value, people management, quality of products and services, and use of corporate assets.

“Our commitment to put our customers first and to live Lockheed Martin’s core values of doing what's right, respecting others, and performing with excellence has positioned our business for success today and in the years ahead,” said Chairman, President and CEO Marillyn Hewson. “That’s why I’m encouraged to see Lockheed Martin recognized by Fortune Magazine as one of the World’s Most Admired Companies.”

Fortune rankings are considered the "definitive report card on corporate reputations" and are based on surveys completed by executives, directors and analysts. Survey participants are asked to rate companies in their industry based on specific criteria from investment value to social responsibility.
