A high-performance, low-cost interceptor is here.  

Allies need the flexibility to address a range of threats while expanding magazine depth and managing the realities of cost and capacity. 

That's where PAC-3 Adapted Capability Effector (PAC-3 ACE™) comes in.  

Introduced in July, PAC-3 ACE is designed to defeat a wide range of air and missile threats at less than half the cost of a PAC-3 MSE per unit. PAC-3 ACE’s cost-effective performance will provide allied forces with a rapidly fielded option while leveraging the proven PAC-3 fire-control system, Patriot weapon system and Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS). 

PAC-3 ACE is designed around a simple idea: build a product that is battle-tested, ally-trusted and budget-smart. 

Through shared collaboration initially with American and European industry partners and suppliers, Lockheed Martin will create an interoperable interceptor that strengthens transatlantic defense posture. 

With this product, Lockheed Martin can ensure the warfighter can rapidly counter incoming threats with confidence.

Readiness is measured by the ability to detect, engage, respond and sustain. That requires strong partnerships with allies around the world and an industrial base connected to deliver capability at the speed of need. 

At the 2026 NATO Summit, the U.S., Germany, the Netherlands, Poland and Sweden committed to explore a dedicated PAC-3 Missile Maintenance Facility in Europe. The proposed facility would bring maintenance and sustainment closer to the forces that rely on the PAC-3 family of missiles, helping keep interceptors ready, reliable and rapidly deployable against emerging threats. 

This represents an opportunity to help shape the next generation of NATO's integrated air and missile defense ecosystem while also strengthening regional sustainment and economic progress.
