In a world where threats evolve faster than ever, we’re ramping up our investments through Lockheed Martin Ventures, which helps reinforce the resilience of the defense industrial base. Throughout 2026, we added a slate of new portfolio companies focused on advanced manufacturing, autonomous systems, quantum technologies, next-generation propulsion and more. During Lockheed Martin Ventures Demo Day 2026, we brought 18 portfolio companies together to connect with our leadership, our customers and the mission and to showcase their innovative technologies.

Demo Day 2026

The ninth annual Demo Day gathered 18 portfolio companies and emerging startups for an intensive, two-day program of connection, keynotes, and demonstrations. Lockheed Martin leaders, subject-matter experts, and customers collaborated with portfolio companies to:

  • Showcase cutting-edge prototypes: From software-defined foundry systems to detonation-engine propulsion and more.
  • Co‑create integration pathways: Breakout sessions paired venture engineers with our technologists to connect deeply with the mission.
  • Forge actionable partnerships: Startups — paired with our deep engineering expertise — are a catalyst for the next wave of defense capability. Demo Day connects our team and solidifies those partnerships.

Lockheed Martin Ventures Demo Day is important because it represents a shift in how defense innovation happens. Instead of relying solely on internal research and long development cycles, we’re created a pathway to rapidly identify, evaluate and integrate emerging technologies from startups. This approach can accelerate the delivery of new capabilities, strengthen the defense industrial base and help ensure that advances in AI, autonomy, advanced manufacturing and more are translated into operational systems more quickly.
