Kaija joined Lockheed Martin Ventures in 2025 as an investment associate. Kaija has a background in engineering and finance. 

Prior to joining Lockheed Martin Ventures, Kaija worked at Paladin Capital where she brought a multidisciplinary approach to due diligence and portfolio company support for Paladin’s deep tech investments. 

Kaija holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and Finance from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and is pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She remains active in the national security innovation ecosystem through organizations such as Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures, Nucleate, and MassChallenge.
