Our advanced training courses are designed to take technicians to the next level and further develop the technician’s knowledge and skills for the aircraft they support and maintain. Technicians will learn from our industry-leading, subject matter experts leveraging our unique OEM expertise with in-depth classroom instruction combined with hands-on aircraft training.

 

MODERN BLACK HAWK ADVANCED MAINTENANCE COURSE

MODERN BLACK HAWK ADVANCED MAINTENANCE COURSE

The Modern BLACK HAWK Advanced Maintenance Course builds upon the Modern BLACK HAWK Maintenance Initial Course to further the technicians knowledge and skills through classroom instruction and hands on practical exercises. Technicians will learn from our industry-leading, subject matter experts leveraging our unique OEM expertise as they perform removal and installations, as well as o-level and bench; repairs, inspections, and testing of aircraft components and systems.

Technicians will receive a minimum of 50 hours of practical exercises utilizing interactive system trainers, computer-based training modules, and actual aircraft parts as well as our BLACK HAWK trainer aircraft.

Subjects covered include:

  • Powerplant System
  • Powertrain Systems
  • Main & Tail Rotor Systems
  • Hydraulic Power System
  • Flight Controls
  • Landing Gear
  • Auxiliary Power Unit System
  • Pneumatic System
  • Fuel System
  • Active Vibration Control System

  • S-70M

Campus: 2 weeks (10 Days)

COURSE PREREQUISITES

  • Completion of the Modern BLACK HAWK Maintenance Initial course or the Modern BLACK HAWK Combined Maintenance and Avionics course.

MODERN BLACK HAWK ADVANCED AVIONICS COURSE

The Modern BLACK HAWK Advanced Avionics Course builds upon the Modern BLACK HAWK Avionics and Electrical Initial course to further the technicians knowledge and skills through classroom instruction and hands-on practical exercises. Technicians will learn from our industry-leading, subject matter experts leveraging our unique OEM expertise as they perform removal and installations, as well as o-level and bench; repairs, inspections, adjustment, and testing of aircraft components and systems.

Technicians will receive a minimum of 50 hours of practical exercises utilizing interactive system trainers, computer-based training modules, and actual aircraft parts as well as our BLACK HAWK trainer aircraft.

MODERN BLACK HAWK MASTER TECHNICIAN PROGRAM

The Modern BLACK HAWK Master Technician Program provides technicians an opportunity to further their knowledge and skills through classroom instruction and hands-on practical exercises. This newly developed program was designed for the maintenance technicians to further advance their skills. The Master Technician program was developed by our industry-leading, subject matter experts leveraging our unique OEM expertise. The program is designed to enhance your mechanical and technical abilities to develop more advance skills to becoming a Master Technician.

The following path leads to a Master Technician:

  • Tier 1
    • Modern BLACK HAWK Combined Maintenance and Avionics Course (Preferred)
    • OR Modern BLACK HAWK Maintenance Initial Course
    • OR Modern BLACK HAWK Avionics and Electrical Initial Course
  • Tier 2
    • Modern BLACK HAWK Flight Control Rigging course
  • Tier 3
    • Modern BLACK HAWK Phase Maintenance Inspection course
  • Tier 4
    • Modern BLACK HAWK Advanced Maintenance Course OR Modern BLACK HAWK Advanced Avionics Course

MODERN BLACK HAWK MASTER TECHNICIAN SPECIALIZATION PROGRAM

The S-70i™/S-70M™ Master Technician Specialization Program provides technicians an opportunity to build upon the Master Technician program with an area focus on either Maintenance Management or Quality Assurance. This newly developed program was designed for the maintenance technicians to further advance their skills and expertise. The Mater Technician Specialization Program was developed by our industry-leading, subject matter experts leveraging our unique OEM expertise.
