Lockheed Martin’s Lufkin Operations facility manufactures components for the GMLRS, PAC-3, THAAD and TACMS programs.
Lockheed Martin’s Lufkin Operations facility was established in 1995 and became part of the Lockheed Martin family in 1997. Its approximately 283 employees perform circuit card assembly, wire harness assembly and final assembly, integration and testing for programs such as the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) guided missile, the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) guided missile, the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) ground hardware and the Tactical Missile System (TACMS) guided missile.
In November 2012, the Lufkin Operations facility was one of eleven MFC facilities selected as a recipient of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for performance excellence and quality achievement. It also won the IndustryWeek award in 2011.

Directions
From Houston Intercontinental Airport
- Take 59 North.
- When coming into Lufkin, stay in left lane until you arrive at the interchange
- Go across the Loop 287 bypass
- Turn left at the light onto the service road.
- The service road will lead onto Loop 287. Stay on the loop until you come to the plant which will be on your right. (The facility is just past West Frank Avenue.)
- Turn in at the first entrance. Follow signs to Visitor Center for parking.
From Dallas/Fort Worth Airport
- Take Hwy 175 East to Jacksonville.
- At Jacksonville, take Hwy 69 South.
- Stay right at the Hwy 69/Loop 287 interchange
- Exit onto Loop 287
- Follow the loop around until you see the plant on your left
- Make a U Turn at first crossover past the plant
- Turn in at first entrance. (Facility will be on your right).
- Follow signs to Visitor Center for parking.
From Angelina Airport
- Take US 59 North towards Lufkin.
- When coming into Lufkin, stay in left lane until you arrive at the interchange
- Go across the Loop 287 bypass
- Turn left at the light onto the service road.
